WHO IS YOUR BARNABAS AND SAUL?
Now there were in the church at Antioch prophets and teachers...while they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then after fasting and praying they laid their hands on them and sent them off.
Acts 13:1-3
We Believe in the Ministry Calling of God
In Acts 13, we see the church in Antioch worshiping and fasting when the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” From that moment, the church laid hands on them and sent them out. Antioch became a sending church—faithfully recognizing, pastoring, and releasing people into their God-given calling.
Our churches today are filled with people just like that—individuals who are waiting to be discipled, shepherded, and ultimately released into their unique calling in God’s mission.
Through Antioch Sunday: Unleashing the Call, you don’t have to do this alone. You’ll find a variety of helpful resources designed to equip and support you every step of the way as you clearly and compellingly present this important invitation to your congregation.
With these tools, and the partnership of the New Jersey Ministry Network, you can confidently equip believers to recognize and step into the unique calling God has placed on their lives.
