Minister's Credentials

What Are Credentials?

A credential is the recognition of an approved minister on a global network. As an Assemblies of God credentialed minister, you will be connected to a family of like-minded ministers from around the world.  As well as having the added protection and covering of one of the most internationally recognized Pentecostal movements, being credentialed also gives you access to relationships, resources, and tools to help develop the ministry and the call God has on your life.   A/G ministers also have access to financial benefits, like a 403(b) plan, and more.

How Do I Get Credentialed?

Obtaining credentials all starts with contacting your sectional presbyter.  Your presbyter will act as your guide throughout this sacred application process including exams, interviews, and more.

For further details about your presbyter and the application process, please refer to the additional handouts below.  If you have any questions, please contact us at 609-747-7878 ext. 2020, or email us at njdcexecsec@njag.org.
